Baindu D. Kalokoh, a native Brooklynite, enjoys using various mediums of the performing arts to conduct storytelling.  Her plays Hair Ye, Hair Ye… and solo show, Platform Griot, were featured at The Midtown International Theatre Festival in Manhattan. She was a finalist in Theatre at Downtown Urban Arts Festival 2017.  Her full length play Tenneh, was “A listed” for the Garland Thompson, Sr. Readers’ Theatre at the 2017 National Black Theatre Festival and featured in the DC Black Theatre Festival 2017 New Works Reading Series. She is extremely grateful to God for all gifts bestowed upon her and every opportunity presented.
